I joined the Xact Team in April of 2006. I was brought onboard to help the Help Desk Solutions Team at the Call Center in Unity, Maine. Since being employed here there have been many changes, all for the better. We have more resources at our fingertips, and our technology has changed and improved. Xact provided me with all the tools I needed to succeed. If I ever need any guidance I know that our management team is always ready and willing to provide any assistance necessary to make me successful in my task.

With the tools provided by Xact, I quickly moved from being a Customer Service Representative to a Team Leader. Xact has been my home away from home. I enjoy each day that I come in to work, as each new day is filled with challenges, accomplishments, and rewards. I find that my hard work and dedication to my team pays off. Xact has really worked with me in the past 3 years. I have a hectic life, with 4 children all actively involved in Sports and Community Activities. My name is Khadijah P. and I have been with XACT since February 2004. My journey with XACT begin in a small office located in Laurel, Maryland. At that time the office was divided into two departments: Education and Medical. I was recruited initially into the Education department, but it wasn't long before I was working within both departments.

By April we were informed that our office would become virtual by the end of the month and we would then be working from home. The thought of working at home was very pleasing to me as this was something I had always wanted to be able to do. I think it has been this luxury that has made working for Xact a very pleasurable one.

XACT has become a family for me, and in fact, I previously left to work for one of the large Universities that we once answered for when I was in the Education department, but after only eight months found myself back at XACT's door step asking to be rehired. I thought working for a University would be great with free education and all; however, it was the closeness between employees, rapport with the supervisors, and the luxury of working from home that brought me back.

I now work for the Telemessaging department and have been here for the past two years. With the struggling economy that we are now experiencing, the benefit of being a home agent is so great that I can't imagine wanting to go anywhere else at this time.
